Co-Host of The New Architect, UX Lead, Co-Author of “A Project Guide to UX Design, Resident Academic. Carolyn puts “ologies” into design like psychology and anthropology, with no apology. She is a self-proclaimed, unabashed Sci-Fi geek and recently outed devotee of “Bill Nye, The Science Guy.” Due largely in part to a redoubtable spirit of readiness, she recently completed not one but two extensive tours of Africa, where she mingled with indigenous peoples, sampled indigenous foods, and even drank the water. (“Regrettably”). Her travels paid-off—now she knows “all the good swear words” in Oshiwambo. True delight, for her, is not what technology can do; it’s what technology allows you to feel.
